#8 blog for January. Resolution kept.
So, I'm hungry. I wish there was a legit over the counter appetite suppressant. Alas, anything you can buy at a store or online is just pure and total crap, or death in a plastic container. But hey, according to the scales at Planet Fitness, I am down 5.5 lbs since January 1. Only 35 more to go! hahahahaha just kidding. No way would I be able to do that.
Wedding:
The place in Morganton that I mentioned in my last post is booked for the wedding date we picked. I think we may just have to be flexible with the date. Hopefully I'm going to tour it next week and talk to the fellow that runs it. If it turns out I must be here then we'll have to change the date. We'll see. I'm also considering changing my colors. I originally picked turquoise and brown, which go together nicely, but I may switch to turquoise and black because people look better in black than brown. Jared doesn't seem to care either way so I guess we'll see how it goes.
Fun:
Jared, his friend Justin, his brother Josh, and I went to a Duke basketball game on Wednesday night. They beat Florida State and we had a fantastic time. Jared has actually gotten me to the point where I somewhat enjoy watching Duke basketball (to a point). But I will NEVER be a fan of NBA.
Here we are at the game:
Here's Coach K and Kyle Singler:
Here's some bball action:
Justin, Josh, and Jared after the game:
This is all possible due to Brad's awesomeness getting us 2 free tickets to the game.

Collection #10: Pictures
Short and sweet tonight.. I'm still thawing from the Appalachian slaughtering..er.. uh.. game in Boone today.
I collect pictures. Ever since I was a young'n I've always loved taking pictures. I've always had a camera, polaroid or otherwise. I have pictures all over my house, I have about 15 photo albums from before I got a digital camera, and I have exactly 3,800 pictures on my flickr right now. If you think that's a lot, you should see all the ones I haven't added to flickr. I try to never leave home without my camera, because you never know when you'll have a great oppurtunity to take a great picture.
Here are a few from the football game that Jared, my dad, and I went to today. My Apps beat Western Carolina U. in Boone. The final score was 79-35. We left at the beginning of the third quarter, as it was veryveryvery buttass cold.

beefcake is a bad boy.
This morning as I was putting in my contacts, Beefcake jumped up on the bathroom counter. I already had Rightie in and was picking Leftie up out of the solution. That is when Beefcake decided to get in my face and say "WHERE IS MY FOOD HO!?" I shooed him away and as he turned, his tail caught Leftie and sent it flying off into oblivion.
After searching and scouring (with one good eye) for a good 10 minutes (I was already late) I gave up and got a new Leftie out of the box. Unfortunately, this is my last Leftie.
My contacts are Torric for Astigmatism and cost $250.00 for a year's supply. That's 4 each of Leftie and Rightie. I got these in March. That means that this Leftie is going to have to last for 7 months. Yikes. I guess that's what happens when you tear one, then you decide you'll throw away a pair because they're "kind of blurry", and then you have a bad kitty that gets in your face.
I have 3 Righties left including the one I'm using currently. Why is it always the Leftie?
No bueno.
