Funny, I turned off my hot tub a month ago (after recieving a LARGE electric bill) and I got my new electric bill and it went down $100.00.
Thank goodness. I mean, I'm glad I have it and all, but seriously?
The best part about having a hot tub is that one day, when I want to sell my condo, it will help a lot to have that as a bonus. Condominiums aren't very big sellers 'round these parts.
Not that I'm moving anytime soon, but I like to think about these things ahead of time.

i say we turn that sucker back on when it's not so cold. it was so high for 2 reasons. 1, you were paying more for heat, cause it was a really cold month. 2, it was freezing, so that sucker had to run all the time to stay hot. in the spring time, we should turn it back on and you should just give me a bill.
