whatta man

Have you ever noticed there are some songs which you just can't help but dance too? I mean, no matter how many times you hear it, and no matter how long it's been since you've heard it, you just have to shake your head and move your hips (which is fun sitting down at your desk).

Today I was fooling around on Itunes and found "Whatta Man" by En Vogue and Salt n Peppa. Geez. What an awesome song. It gives me goosepimples. Every girl in America between the ages of 22 and 32 (and above, I'm sure) knows a good portion of the words to this song and sings along when she hears it.

Next up, I'm going to download "Shoop". And then some Boys II Men. :)

I always kinda liked that "Free Your Mind" song, or whatever it was called. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the video had a bunch of hot, scantily clad black chicks dancing around and singing over heavy metal sounding guitars.

I have a lot of fond memories of that era of music. Back in the days when I was young enough to still think MTV was cool.

Yep, I sure do. That is getting close to like 2 years ago. How weird is that?

Right now Mary J. Bilge song's "Family Affair" is going through my head since it was the last song that was playing when I was in the car.
