bad.. soooooooo bad...

Now, I have nothing against Van Halen.

But seriously, boss in Hickory and boss in Lenoir. It's been 2 weeks since you went to see them perform in Greensboro. It's been 20 years since they were cool to anyone younger than you. Must we listen to them all day, every day? Must I hear them muffled slightly, yet very audible, coming from your office every day? Must I want to poke my eardrums out with a fork? I understand you want to relive every moment from when you were 20 and you had your awesome mullet and you had every Van Halen cassette. I get it. I was cooler when I was 20 too. But you don't see me going around listening to "island music" anymore and forcing my coworkers to listen to Bloodhound Gang. I was a better drinker back then, too. Does that mean I should start drinking at work? Should I try to find a video on youtube of that concert I went to that totally rocked?

While reading your post, I had flashes of speeding around with my boyfriend in high school while the lyrics to the "the cradle will rock" was blaring from his cassette deck. I'm not a huge fan.
Last time we were in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, it was Sammy Haggar's 55th birthday. He owns a bar there and people were flocking to the celebration. I couldn't believe it. They all wore these t-shirts which were a take off on his song "I can't drive 55" crazy but David Lee Roth will always be the singer for Van Halen.

You should wear headphones. That's the only way I can drown out the noise in my office.
